I love this little roll-on tube, convenient for taking with me on road trips or just to work. After pinching a nerve this last week I’ve been using this religiously. I take some painkillers and roll this onto the affected area and within the time the medication takes effect I am feeling a cooling sensation of relief at the same time. It’s probably great for athletes as well for the quick relief after a workout!
It’s almost got a Vix quality in smell, I feel my nose open up as well as my pores. That's most likely due to the menthol and peppermint in the formula, it gives me a relaxed feeling before I even apply it.
It leaves my skin feeling a bit oily but it soaks into my skin after 5 minutes leaving it feeling smooth to the touch. You should use this sparingly as I noticed the more I put on the longer I had to wait to sit back so it didn’t absorb into what I was wearing. It is recommended to apply right after a hot bath or shower for better absorption.
Pre-application I felt tight and stiff and about 5 minutes in I could feel the muscle starting to relax and let the tension go slightly. 10 minutes in, the cooling sensation took over and there wasn’t as much pain in my lower back. I could feel the tightness deeper inside but it wasn’t as prominently screaming at me and I’m not holding my breath to reach for things. Getting old sucks and this makes it a little more bearable.
