Packaging 3/5

This came in a seafoam green mylar pouch, and while I love the colour choice, I’m not a huge fan of the pouch. They also had plenty of space to work with, and they didn’t really include much information about the product. They listed the total terpene percentage, but they didn’t list any of the dominant terps. It was pretty average. 

Visual Appeal 4.5/5

Some really pretty buds! They were dark green, with some tones of purple and a few orange hairs. This pouch included 3 large buds and one smaller one. There was also a large number of trichomes visible.

Bud Density 4.5/5

I really loved the bud density of these, they felt really nice between my fingers and had a great nerf to them. 

Moisture Level 4/5

The integra package did a good job with this one, and kept the buds from crisping up or crunching on you. Like I just mentioned in the density section, some great nerf. This was packaged on August 30, 2024 and it's October 14th as I write this review.

Trichome Density 4/5

There was plenty to see here without a scope. I expected a little bit of stickier buds from how many trichomes were easily visible, but these were nice. I’ll have to start unpacking more of my things from my move and get my scope out for the next review… 

Aroma 4/5

This smelled fantastic! A very sweet & creamy, gas-forward smell with a little bit of citrus behind it. It smelled great, but I would have preferred the smell to be a little bit more potent. I had to bring the bag a little closer than I would have liked to really pick up on the aroma. 

Taste 3/5

This was fine, the flavour wasn’t bad, but it was overall pretty average. I didn’t really get any of the flavours in the aroma that came through in taste unfortunately. 

Smoothness 5/5

Super smooth, no coughing, no trigger my asthma. This also burned really nicely in the bong.

Potency 2/5

I didn’t get a whole lot in terms of potency unfortunately. I smoked a couple of bowls, and then went for a hike with my dog. As I smoked them, I was regretting making that decision because I always end up burning out on my hike. This was more of the opposite, after about 30 minutes I got this extra burst of energy and we kept on hiking for another hour and a half. No burnout, but at peace among the trees. After getting home, I smoked a couple more bowls, and I guess with the remaining energy from the walk I did some cleaning around the house. Vacuumed, folded some laundry, cleaned the kitchen, emptied the dishwasher, wrote this review… Absolutely not a couchlocking indica. This was another instance where I would have loved to see the individual terpenes listed to have a better idea of what the effects would have looked like. 

Duration of Effects 3/5

This wasn’t super potent to begin with, but the effects that were noted lasted a little over an hour. I guess I’d consider that to be pretty average. 30% THC is a number that holds a lot of psychological power to consumers in this industry, and for some, they may be a little let down by the potency of this. 

Overall 41/55 (75%)

This scored fairly high, but a lot of that was ranked on bag appeal like bud size, trichomes, and aroma. Visually speaking, this totally surpassed any expectations that I had for this bud. Unfortunately,where it lost some points is where it came to actual consumption. I’m big on flavour, and I really didn’t see anything spectacular in that category. It burned really well in my bong, and it wasn’t harsh at all. The effects were pretty mild for an indica, not at all what I would consider sedating or something that I would recommend before bed. It helped to relax me though, and set the right mood for a nice hike with my dog. It was certainly better than some of the value products on the market, so being priced at $25.66 for 3.5g was pretty fairly priced. For the right consumer, this might be an okay recommendation, but despite the pretty decent score I don’t know if I’d repurchase this specific product, but I would be open to trying another cultivar from them.
