I got one of the 1964 Gelato # 41 single 0.7g prerolls as a sample from Rubicon at the Grow Up Conference. Sadly despite being only a few months old it does seem kind of worn out. The rep did say after that coordination for samples could have gone better but BC did announce a proper sampling policy only very shortly before the conference. I appreciate that the tube was large enough to list a lot of information on it but it also allows a lot of room for the preroll to rattle around in. It did end up kind of flattened by it and it did canoe a little. There was also loose flower in the tube, likely shaken free during the time spent in the tube. While I don’t mind a little, this time there was more than I would like to see and I wonder if it contributed to the flatness. There were some very lovely aromas from the tube of citrus and earth with hints of floral notes. Sadly not really much made it into the smoke due to age. Past the stale cannabis taste was mostly just woody mud. The smoke though was very smooth and easy going. I honestly would have few complaints if the flavors had been more present. 

It does seem a bit of a shame that such nice flower didn't really hold up here. The high was fairly balanced and nice but sadly short lived. This probably is quite nice fresh but I can see why it might move a bit slowly if it sits too long if this is the kind of quality you might get from the last box from a lot sitting in the BC Cannabis warehouse. The size was alright. It didn’t feel too much different from the length of time I spend smoking a 0.5g but it didn’t come that close to the time I spend smoking a 1g. This I would find is good for a nice quickie on the run but you do get a much better deal just buying an eighth and rolling your own since most of them run about $35.
