The Primo Gorilla Haze prerolls were not very fun to smoke. There were some gnarly aromas of anise and root beer. Well, gnarly to me as I really dislike both licorice and root beer. Unfortunately, the aroma is the only high point. Starting from the tube itself, it is bigger at one end then the other so they really had to jam all three in. I think this tube was only designed for a single. They could have used a bit more label to give even a bit more about the flower itself and more so if they had used a slightly larger and better tube.

The prerolls are also really badly constructed. They aren't evenly filled with it being very loose and almost empty at the tip to super packed at the end. Once I massaged all the flower evenly through, it still was pretty loose in the papers. They left paper over the end of the cardboard tip which I’m not a fan of. I find it always gets soggy and stuck in the end blocking parts of it or shedding little bits of paper in your mouth as you smoke. These kinds of problems kind of seem extra bad in prerolls since they are supposed to just be ready to go without having to roll flower and finish up a joint.

There also was too much paper left at the folded end and it made them hard to light. I'm not even sure they were hemp papers since they didn't want to burn. They burned hot and dark. Some had a big lack of resin in them. The last one was even shedding coal bits left and right. The flavors were rather unpleasant, being mostly burnt and bitter with a weird chemical note. I did get high in a nicely strong and physical way but it was not really worth the hassle and the nasty chemical burnt taste. I don't think this was an age thing though as it was only a couple of months old. I do find it somewhat amusing Primo cannabis has a whole article on their site about how to pick good prerolls. They make a big point about quality flower and how their prerolls will never burn black. At least they were honest in that sometimes the cheapest is not always the best quality.
