Wallace from Primeau Craft Cannabis was kind enough to hook us up with some early samples of his new Hot Cake Pre - Rolls. It's a mixture of his Lava Cake and The Dough into one pre-roll. I was informed these will be out on the market around January 2024!!

These haven't been released yet. They were originally going to go with a tin like container for them but decided to go with a pop top tube when they come to market. 

Aroma/taste: 3/5 

A very much twist of the 2 strains. You get a nice earthy taste on the inhale but on the exhale is followed by the sweet cake flavor with some of the earthy and sweetness behind it. 

Pre-Roll Quality: 3.5/5 

Looks great, I also like that they put their brand name on the filter! Some people don't and it doesn't make sense to me, it's your product, claim it! Not a fan on the twist off end but it works. (I was also informed that they will be going with a flat crown, instead of the twist end on the actual product)

The Burn: (Primeau Product papers) 4.5/5 

A little tickle on the throat but otherwise fairly smooth! Nice greyish ash on the end! As well as a nice rez line that's just going with the flow! I did give it some taps before lighting it but it's been burning amazingly so far!

The Buzz: 4/5 

Very nice and chill in the body. A great high for ending a day at work. Just enough in the body that you can still function and do stuff but you don't really want too lol. It's also hitting right behind the eyes. It does give me a bit of a head buzz but I guess that's good enough to just keep me from passing out right now. It is very much an indica dominant high!

The Burnout: 4.5/5 

So like a little bit of a burn out but it's that kind of burnout that just makes you want to smoke more lol it could be a nap time after a few but I still think you would be fine. 

Overall: 19.5 /25

These were quite enjoyable and a great representation of both strains. You get both effects and taste off of both of the strains combined into a great high. I'm excited to see these come to the market and I'm glad Wallace gave me a chance to write this review before they are released! 

We will definitely revisit these when they actually come to the market!
