Opening thoughts:

Strains has been a company I've heard of, gotten swag from but never had the pleasure of consuming. This was ordered twice and received once, a mispick happened and I got to try the Hectane instead. My wife enjoyed it so much it became her bag.

I was very excited to try the item that had eluded me thus far.

Was it fate that made this hard to get or was it meant to be mistaken?

Now I'm smoking for Science (so you don't have to!)

Break Down:

Packaging: 1/5 this was terrible packaging for this size of item. All four joints were filter down and cone style, which caused a nearly impossible extraction of a pre-roll. The label was great, I just can't get over how much work it was to get the first one out. I would have preferred the pouch instead of this tube. I also think there's a humidity pack which doesn't help the extraction.

Aroma/taste: 3/5 Dry pull was a sweet dry blue candy, chalky blueberry I'd say. It smelt sweet yet tart, not a pow puckering your lips moment but definitely there. The actual taste however was like if nerds the candy was aquarium gravel. A sweet fishy rock taste. The overall experience was quite strange.

Pre-rolls: 5/5 These were beautifully made, equal sizing, clipped tails, logos on the filters, no rips or wrinkles. These are definitely designed well.

The Burn: 5/5 no issues all the way to the filter. Great gray ash with a cute resin ring that flowed evenly all the way to the end.

The Buzz: 4/5 Very spacey couchlocky kind of buzz. Headspace was great and not too Foggy, just lazy and listless.

The Burnout: 4/5 very mild and calm, I could eat. Dry mouth like no other I've had in awhile but a nice easy come down.

Overall: 22/25 taste is definitely a no go for me, everything else about the actual product was fine.

I detest the size of the tube, they went for length and not girth which I felt was the overall issue. The joints were flawless, I'd be proud to have joints of that quality.
