Tom from the Different Collective passed along a gift card to try Debunk products so this is the first of two. Debunk products seem very hit and miss both in availability here in BC and in reactions to them as they have a mix of distillate carts, resin carts and infused concentrates. The Debunk Blue Widow Crumble is kind of an outlier in the concentrates market as an infused concentrate. Unfortunately they are deliberately unclear in how this is happening. They have a CoA option on their website but my product was not available on it either. So I have no idea what the base strain is and how much of this is infused and flavored. They mention Blueberry and White Widow strains but no idea if they are actually used in any amount. This is kind of frustrating as there is a much smaller portion of folks who don’t care what they put in their lungs as long as they get high. I’ve always seen the vapes outsell quite handily the crumble every time they are in at the same time with the concentrates sitting ages past selling out the vapes.
I tried this out in my Puffco Plus pen and it reminded me a lot of the Lab Theory diamonds right down to how it behaved and the texture. This was a very dry crumble and I was even able to cleanly pick up bits with my fingers. It also has the best jar yet I've had to deal with in a concentrate. The jar opened very easily while still being childproof. I would love to see this jar used way more in concentrates. It was very fruity in a kind of Jones berry lemonade soda kind of way on all temps. On low though it was kind of chemically and muddled. It did the best on high, tasting a little less artificial but still felt like I was using a distillate cartridge instead of a concentrate.It did burn very cleanly, leaving behind very little residue.
The high while strong was also very shallow and really what I am looking for in a concentrate. Personally I'd be much more comfortable with this product if it was way more clear on what was in it even with it being flavored. I have at least three flavored resin products i quite enjoyed. It is a very accessible concentrate because of the packaging and price but that is kind of all I can see going for it.
