Pretty standard as far as edible packaging goes. This came in a plain blue pouch, with their logo on the front. I like their choice of package colours though. Both this, as well as their Espresso Bites seem to stand out a little more in the sea of silver packaging. 

Visual Appeal 4 / 5

Two small, round, milk chocolate balls with a slight shine to it. Fairly symmetrical, and there was no melted chocolate stuck to the packaging or anything. But the size of the packaging to the size of the bites always leaves me wanting a few more.

These were delicious! I was expecting them to cheap out on the chocolate to blueberry ratio, but these had a really nice covering of chocolate to them. I’d say close to a 50-50 ratio of chocolate to berry. The blueberries themselves were delicious as well, reminded me specifically of a blueberry pie filling. The chocolate itself was tasty too, with no cannabis aftertaste detectable. In typical Kiva fashion, these were infused with a cold water hash. I would have liked to taste a little more of that hash, but I’m okay with them masking the taste of cannabis as well.

10mg isn’t enough for me to comment on the effects, so I will give them a score of “average” until Health Canada allows for higher mgs in our edibles. Plus an extra half point for the use of cold water hash instead of distillate.

These will get a repurchase from me for sure! Sometimes I feel like edibles are just a way for me to fill a sugar craving while getting a little THC at the same time, but by the time I eat 10 packs of chocolate or gummies to get my desired effects, they’ve left me feeling a little guilty about my consumption. These blueberries were delicious, and only 10 calories per bite. For once, I’d love to have more pieces in the bag to munch on as an actual snack, but I would be totally happy eating 10 packs of this to chase my desired effects.
