Opening thoughts:
Lebanese hash isn't something that seems overly common right now, it's either a retro, old school, Afghan Black or dry sift. So of course curiosity kicks into high gear and the package comes home with me.
Was this the pack to be left behind or will it be the pack that bites back?
Now I'm smoking for Science (so you don't have to!)
Break Down:
Packaging: 5/5 so far the most descriptive, most informative and a glass jar that's easy to open. I hope every other hash company is taking notes here. It's got the vibe.
Aroma/taste: 4/5 strong coffee Aroma fills my nose from the chest height. The flavor was roughly the same but with a bit of bitterness. It was a hard thing to pair but when paired properly it seriously makes the experience.
Product: 4/ 5 this was like tearing into a two bite brownie, if I didn't know better if I ate it, it would taste like a chocolate truffle. It was soft and super easy to work with.
The Burn: (OCB rice papers) 5/5 it burned well, didn't affect the overall burn, no bubbling or melting in any terrible way. This was a delight to destroy.
The Buzz: 4/5 This wasn't what I was expecting but actually hoped for. This was a very uplifting yet stupefying buzz. My body was ready to party like I was given a few espresso shots but my brain was kind of bricked. I dug this hard especially with a solid body buzz.
The Burnout: 3/5 not hefty but not light. The joy that was once in my joints has now faded into a groggy snack time. Not a crazy munchie run but definitely demo a bag of chips and a sleeve of cookies. A small sleeve.
Overall: 26/30 Wow, Bravo. Seriously, this is definitely a rebuy for me. When mixed with a lovely dark grape strain this just kicked off with a great flavor blend and a smooth smoke. Price to quality is Definitely there and the packaging is simply the best label to jar for this type of product overall to date.
