The Tree Tops by Alternabis Alternablunt was interesting to say the least. It's a blunt using hash instead of a blunt wrap. I think they knew it might sit for a while though as it is plastic sealed like a wax seal, but it's pretty fragile so I found it easy to pop open. It came wrapped in paper and with some advice on lighting it inside the tube which might have been a hair too tight as some of the hash came off inside. It has a nice reusable glass tip which is a nice touch. There was also too much wax paper inside as it was heavily wrapped around the joint.There was a lot of empty space on the label that could have been used for strain information or terpene percentages as well. It was a nice touch that there is a tree stamped into the plastic at the top.

It had a very muted aroma I think from the hash that was mostly herbal and citrusy on opening the tube. As it burned you could see the hash ash was much lighter than the flower inside which isn’t the greatest. The smoke was super heavy and even a bit harsh. It burned quite fast so I think it may have dried out some. Funnily enough it was nearly flavorless for the first half and then got quite pleasant the rest of the way. It finished with some nice citrus and eucalyptus flavors. 

The biggest downside was at the end it got incredibly hot as the glass tip was warm and so no more cooling the smoke. I couldn't really finish the last inch from the heat being too much for me. The high was alright but not really anything strong mentally or physically. I do have to wonder what the initial percentages of THC are respectfully for the hash and the flower since for an infused product this was quite low and most hash is fairly strong on its own. This is some fairly nice flower but so very expensive that it's really only a special occasion item.
