Valhalla Flwr's Cosmic Cherry was too good to be in a bag. This was a very nice bit of flower being squashed once more by being in a mylar bag with no protection. The bag really could have used far more information. The only thing on the back was lost and a package date with plenty of room for top terpenes or lineage. This seems very bare bones in comparison to other products at this price point and packaging type. It kind of smelled like trail mix that used dried cherries and mixed nuts on opening the bag.
It was pretty sticky to handle and looked nicely frosty. The bud appeal was pretty nice with some vibrant purples and a good size on the four nugs. Sadly the outside terps were pretty shaved from the bag handling. On the scope the inside did seem to be showing a bit of age but nothing too much. Sadly it wasn't quite as flavorful in the joint. It came across mostly earthy and herbal with an oddly metallic finish. It at least was pretty consistent from start to finish. It did have a bit of a harsh smoke but nothing too bad. It did have good moisture for smoking even if it ground pretty dry. I think the resin really brought it back a bit. The high was way more indica than hybrid though. It set in decently with some nice physical sides for me. The only thing that was frustrating was the crush damage on a $39 eighth.
