So I have tried the new D*gg lbs Cryptic Chronic and it's fine which does make it better than most celebrity cannabis. This is the second cannabis brand Snoop Dogg has tried in Canada, the first being Leaves by Snoop which went by LBS. There was a bit of crush damage from the bag which is not a surprise at this point even if it is disappointing. The aromas were decently strong but a bit odd. It had a kind of tomato and basil smell to it. They did grind kind of dry but wasn't that much of a surprise to me. From the relabeling of the bag, it looks like they had to change growers partway through which might mean this batch was rushed. It looks like they went from Atlas to Greenseal. I actually found that out because there are two labels on the back, one on top of the other with the most recent having the pack date and lot number and Greenseal’s information on it.

The smoke was fine again. The flavors were mostly an average herbal from start to finish with some citrus and gassiness at the beginning. It did get a bit muddy and woody at the end but nothing really unpleasant. It did have nice physical effects at least with a solid onset so the high was good. It was better than most celebrity cannabis I have tried but not more than that. I do admit part of my letdown was from having better expectations from the nice experiences I’ve had from Greenseal before. It at least is alright for the cost and Greenseal is known for good flower for the most part so hopefully future batches will be better.
