Atomic Apple

Lot420 - Atomic Apple

Sourced at the Hall Of Flowers conference

I like to separate my experience and relate it by using sections. These sections will be divided up as follows, with my impressions listed:

-bag appeal

-nose

-translation of taste during consumption

-effects/ experience

A final score out of 40 will be awarded and whether or not I would repurchase or look for this flower after smoking it . My preferred method of consuming for the sake of analyzing a strain is through a joint. I use Smoking J's corn husk paper and will roll between 1g and 1.2g for reference.

Bag appeal:  7/10

A tight bud filled  with green hues both light and dark, flecks of purple can be seen and once pulled apart are more prevalent through the flower. The bud itself is coated in milky white and clear resin heads, these resin heads spread through the entire bud and are not just a top coating. Extremely sticky flower.

Nose.   8/10

The nose is a deep, deep burned rubber. This nose is magnified exponentially once the flower is processed and broken up. The level of resin coating is also abundant leaving resin all over my fingertips. Pungent flower boarding on the offensive side of burned rubber, tarmac.

The unlit pull is everything that was noted on the initial nose magnified.  Intense rubber, rubber on tarmac, burned rubber, and gas with an earthen funk to wrap it all up. All signs pointing to heavy, heavy, sedative experience.

Taste translation:  6/10

Pine with an exhale of a sweet earth. The rubber and gas notes that were heavy upon opening the bag, and breaking the product up are not present during consumption. A resin ring has appeared midway through consumption and this has altered the profile of the joint significantly limonene and dough are now present complimenting the initial flavors. The ash is a white/Grey.

Effects/experience  6/10

The effects are cerebral, creative, focused with an overall alert state of being , very different from what I was expecting due to the nose of the flower, but pleasing nonetheless. However these effects are mild.

27/40

This is a great functional flower, one that can be consumed readily without having to worry about being far too lethargic.  A daytime "indica" . The loss in points comes from its inability to take the nose and translate that into the smoke, that being said it is a very, very tasty flower and I would repurchase this.
