I missed getting to try the Lotus Keylime Kush the last time it was around so I braved the cold to try it. The glass jar is nice and they included a boost along with a good amount of information on the label. The buds were kind of average though a good size for an eighth. I didn't like how they kind of looked fuzzy in an old way. It made it hard to judge if the color was good or not. The aroma was pretty muted as well, with mostly sage and citrus with hints of floral and greenery. This was reflected under the scope as well as the trichomes seemed a bit aged. It was nice though to get a couple good sized buds along with a small bit to bring it up to weight. It did grind a bit dry even with the humidity pack so it might have been too dry going in.

The smoke was odd though in spite of grinding all the buds together, the smoke flavors were not consistent from joint to joint. It swapped between bready, musky with a bit of sweet citrus and it being almost chemically pine and lemon. One joint would have bread first and finish lemon and another might start piney and finish doughy. The high felt very balanced with maybe a touch energizing. It unfortunately was pretty short lived but didn't seem to have a hard comedown. All in all it really was just average in almost every way. Given the just around $30 price it's not bad but I've had better at the same price point. However in BC even decent hybrid offerings at that price are pretty rare so as for that, it's quite good as long as you are grabbing it under $35.
