The new Pink Lemonade gummies from Spinach might be my least favorite so far. I’m wondering if they went with a new bag supplier since it didn’t tear as easily as some in the past. At least in the worst case with a bag and gummies you can just use scissors. They are the usual Spinach construction of pectin in the big pieces and heavily sugar coated. The sugar coating really didn’t help this time. The flavors are just really mild so it ends up just tasting like vaguely lemon sugar as the sugar just dominates the entire taste. It is definitely the least sour of their line up and that might be why I didn't like the flavor. Without the sour to balance it's just very sweet.
I didn't get much of a sativa effect from it but then Spinach does go very light on the terpenes so you can't taste any herbal flavors. It just has the usual 10mg so a fairly standard high for me which is basically just a muggy head high that is relaxing. I’m not seeing a big drive for this flavor in my area though and I wonder if the light flavor is keeping folks going for the Strawberry Mango still. I think if they amped up the sour better this could be really tasty, particularly if they added a bit more strawberry or whatever they used for the pink part of the lemonade.
