A wonderful coworker of mine bought me an eighth of the Kootenay Quantum Dark Matter. Honestly I feel this is a solid product messed up by BC Cannabis's logistics and the processor Antidote's handling. It was harvested April 10th, put in jars May 24th and not available to order until August 21. It started out looking promising but issues did start creeping up. Despite looking fairly frosty the trichomes ended up being kind of mediocre. This also was evident in the low aroma and muted taste. 

It had really dense buds that ground quite dry but at least didn’t smoke very dry. It really was a struggle to pull out distinct flavors and smells in this one. It smelled kind of gently floral and citrus and tasted very musky sour and gassy. The high was very mild and short as well coming across as a very basic THC forward high. There were definitely shenanigans going on in the background with the logistics. This really was once a good product that might have been worth the price that got just hammered by everything after the harvest. This really goes to show the damage that can be caused by many different issues. I would love to try this grower when handled much better by everyone.
