Packaging

I’m typically not a fan of mylar pouches, but as far as I’m concerned VCC is giving us the gold standard on packaging. They’ve included absolutely everything on the label here for full consumer transparency from the total cannabinoid profile, terpene profile, who cloned it, who grew it, how they grew it, flowering time, curing time… very impressive, and I think we need to see more LPs following suit. 

Bud Size

Very large buds, the whole bag was 2 large pieces and 2 small pieces to top it up. 

Bud Density

Like I mentioned, the buds were very large but not necessarily the most dense. Definitely a little on the looser side.

Moisture Level

A tad bit dry, I was a little surprised that they didn’t include a humidity control package in here. 

Trichome Density

These buds had a very dense layer of trichomes over them, visibly whitening the buds. Always a real treat to open some buds that look like that. 

Aroma

A very odd experience, but this was the first time ever that I opened a bag that had zero smell to it. No cannabis smell, no funky terpenes, no nothing. I opened the bag and it smelled like an empty mylar pouch that had never held any cannabis. A super strange experience. 

Taste

Despite the lack of aroma, this comes with a very unique flavour profile. On the bag they describe the flavour as a savoury, lime corn chips which gave me a bit of a chuckle. But low and behold, I found myself smoking a bowl of savoury, lime corn chips. 

Smoothness

A very smooth smoke, no coughing or irritation whatsoever. 

Potency

This was really good, and definitely has a way of slowing things down a little bit. I smoked this mid-afternoon while I still had a few things I had to do around the house and I was left with very little motivation to do any of it. This isn’t about to wreck somebody and put them straight to bed, but a great option to just relax and watch some tv. 

Duration of Effects

The effects seemed to last a good duration. I wasn’t feeling irritable or looking for a top-up bowl either. 

Overall

Visually this was a really gorgeous bag, and the taste profile was certainly unique. If you enjoy exploring the different flavours of cannabis, this is certainly one worth trying at least once. A relaxing smoke that I appreciated to help wind down my day. I’d be open to repurchasing this one. Although I’ll never forget the aroma, or lack thereof - this will always be the bag that smelled like mylar pouch to me.
