Review
Sixty Seven Sins has been making waves among the industry, with many people having positive feedback to give. As someone who really hates religion, I’m always a big fan of the religious themed canna-brands, so eventually I knew I was going to have to see what these guys were all about. So this review is a walk through my first experience with Sixty Seven Sins.
Packaging
This was a pretty generic package, but I did like that they used the simple black & red theme to their advantage. This came in a black mylar pouch with a boost integra humidity pack. On the back of the packaging, they listed all the basic information like terpene content and cannabinoid information, but they also included the breeder (Tiki Madman).
Visual Appeal
This came with some really gorgeous bag appeal. The bag consisted of 3 large, dense, buds with some dark purple spots and a thin layer of trichomes. After running this through a grinder, the purple really jumps out.
The Buds (Size, Density, Moisture Level, Trichomes)
Pretty large buds in this bag! The whole bag was just 3 pieces and the buds were dense and had the slightest bit of squish to it and absolutely no cracking or crumbling. I’ve been finding that a lot of my flower lately has been a little on the dried out side, but this was at the most perfect humidity level. It was very sticky and would make some really incredible rosin.
Aroma & Taste
The smell on this bag was fantastic, really heavy on the gas. Unfortunately, the taste wasn’t quite as heavy as the smell though. Still distinctly gassy & earthy, but it didn’t punch you with flavour the way it hit you on the nose.
Smoothness
This was incredibly smooth, and produced no coughing. I find some of those heavier, more resinous, indicas tend to be harsher on my asthma but this was fantastic.
Potency & Duration of Effects
When I first opened this bag it was around 9pm, and I found that the effects were pretty decent and gently started winding me down for the night. Exactly what I was looking for in a pre-bed smoke. I then made the mistake of Wake & Baking this one the next morning and it was heavy. I was planning to go for a hike with the dog, and while I did eventually make it to the trails, it took every ounce of willpower to get off my couch and leave the house.
Overall
This was a fantastic smoke, and it’s very reasonably priced at $28.99. I can see why this has been getting a lot of attention recently. This is a product I’d be happy to recommend and quick to repurchase, either on-sale or at regular price. It’s been hard to find quality craft options that don’t break the bank, and coming in under $30 makes this one a really excellent offering. Delicious flavours, great effects, and gorgeous buds checked every box. I’m already on the look-out for my next Sixty Seven Sins product to try, and if you haven’t tried one yet, you should probably keep your eye out as well. This is one product I’d love to see them release in a hash or a rosin.
