Review: I had such high hopes for Mary Jones sodas. I was so excited to see a main stream company coming into the infused world here in Canada. Most of our infused drinks come from new companies; not already established non-infused brands. I've always enjoyed Jones sodas and was really looking forward to these that I squealed when I saw them at my local dispensary.

Packaging:  Worst safety tops ever! Wow these ones are the hardest I've ever had to open. I even did a reel on my instagram to show the difficulties. 1/5

Visual Appeal:  The cans are very bright and appealing to the eye. I was really hoping for their iconic clear glass bottles but maybe in the future they will come out with them. But the color of these Sodas? Wow just wow they are neon. Even more so than the original Jones I think. 3/5

Aroma/Taste:  Here is where my big beef comes in for these sodas. One 355ml can contains 42 g of sugar!! 42 grams!?! That's 4 grams more than a can of Coke, 10 grams more than a Ginger Ale. If I drank all 3 of these cans I would be bouncing off the walls. They are so sweet, the ingredients do state "cane sugar",  I'm unable to tolerate more than a sip at a time. There is no cannabis taste to any of these drinks.  2/5

MF Grape. I love grape sodas, don't get me wrong. But this one is so sweet I could never take a guzzle of it only a small sip. My mouth puckered and just started salivating to get the taste out. I was so sad to not like this one. Memory unlocked, it tastes like the grape penicillin we used to get way back in the day as kids. 

Berry Lemonade. There are no berries or lemons in the ingredients but there is Brilliant blue FCF in it (to be fair it does say "natural flavor"). The taste is almost like a blue freezie. Also very sweet but not as sour as the grape. I taste no Lemonade.

Green Apple. It's a very vibrant green probably one of the smoother tasting of the three I had available to try. It doesn't have a very strong apple flavor but does smell a little like apples. My favorite of these three.

Effects:  With the amount of sugars, I think I would be getting more of a sugar rush than a high from these drinks. 2/5

Overall 8/20 (40%).

I really really wanted to love these sodas. But with the extremely high sugar content and the flavors not being as good as I thought they would be, they just didn't make the cut and will not be in my regular rotation. I should compare these to the non infused to see which one I like better. 

I do hope they come out with a cream soda soon though. I'd give that one a try. 

Side note.. they did go flat very quickly so it did make them a bit easier to drink. But I didn't finish a single one of these cans. Only had a few sips from each of them. They were much to sweet for me to finish and made my tongue feel weird. They also felt almost thick to drink like there's too much syrup in them.
