So Dank Drops is a new LP that just came to BC. The whole appeal of Dank Drops is its limited monthly release; Korean BBQ was the first cultivar they came out with in June. I want to give a big shout-out to Heritage Cannabis’ rep for BC Paul, and he is a gem that has constantly supported my journey in the cannabis industry. Thank you again for the eighth, buddy; sorry the review took me so long. *This grading was graded via The Different Collective Grading System

Packaging: 4.8/5

The Korean BBQ comes in a blue mylar bag; the back has every piece of info you could want to know about your cannabis, and what holds the cannabis is a clear mason jar inside with a humidity pack. I would prefer the bag to be changed to a box. To be more environmentally friendly and save space in dispensary drawers.

Bud visual appeal: 4.5/5

The buds were medium to big, and the colour had spots of dark green, but overall they were a light olive green with burnt orange stigmas. The buds density had a dense to open quality to them as well. The buds also had an easily visible covering of trichomes.

Moisture level 3/5

Bud bounces back slightly and slowly after doing a squish test.

Undesirable (bugs, hair, mould): 0/5

I found no undesirables.

Trichome Density: 5/5

The trichomes had a clear to milky white quality to them. The outside was clearer going to amber; the inside trichomes had a milkier quality.

Aroma: 4/5

The aroma was a complex & unique array of gas, pepper and garlic.

Aroma strength: 5/5

When I opened the bag, it was a freakin’ punch to the face without the bag’s seal being broken. Once the seal was broken on the bag, it overpowered my nostrils and filled the room.

Taste: 4/5

The taste is very garlicky but has a buttered popcorn aftertaste.

Smoothness: 4/5

I smoked the Korean BBQ in a joint first; the joint was very smooth till the last three puffs; in a bong and a joint, I had a slight tickle in the back of my throat.

Potency: 3.67/5

The potency was powerful; it had an almost balanced/uplifting effect. It lasted roughly four hours. It was beneficial for creative work.

What colours was the ash? Light gray

How did you consume it? 0.5g in a joint, 0.5 in a bong, 1 gram in total

Final Score/Summary: 4.25/5

Would I buy the Korean BBQ again? Yes, I liked its effects; it allowed me to get some work done which is always lovely. The sad part is that it probably won’t because it is a limited drop, but I like the Dank Drops concept with a monthly cultivar as it makes the cultivar seem more special. Once again, I want to thank Paul for getting me the Korean BBQ to try. If you see him out in his rep adventures, you are in for a treat cause he is a gem. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to see what else Dank Drops is putting out next.
