Ross Gold - Black Diamond

Packaging: 3/5 

Very eye catching Gold packaging with the logo slapped right in the middle of it. But other than it being eye catching, there's really not a whole lot to it. Just the basic information and that's all

Aroma/taste: 1.5/5 

The aroma is not there at all, I basically have to shove my nose into the bag to really get anything. I do get a bit of a like skunky lemony scent, its hard to make out with how faint it is. But that will happen when the product is almost a year old. 

The faintest taste of something on the dry pull. I honestly have no idea what flavor it is but it's kind of on the citrusy side but not really. The slightest hint of citrus once lit, but really nothing much taste wise. Just kind of generic weed taste I guess. 

Buds: 3.5/5 

The buds are nice and juicy looking. They didn't really like the squeeze test but they at least didn't break apart and had a very slight bounce back. They have a nice like brightish green colouring and darker and lighter spots covering them. 

Under The Scope 2.75/5

At first the outer surface looked ok, some decapitated trichome stalks and amber heads but some decent milky heads as well. Sadly once I opened one of the nugs, it got worse on the inside. Nothing terrible but the trichomes were dark amber colour. I was hoping for some good ones on the inside based on the outside, but was sadly disappointed. 

The Burn: (Raw Black Hemp papers) 2.5/5 

Decent Burn, mostly it wasnt super harsh or anything like that. A bit of a tickle on the throat but not much otherwise. Some very dark ash on this one, it does lighten up a little bit, but not a whole lot. Started to get a bit harsher by the end of it. 

The Effects: 3/5 

They were at least there and doing the job, but I feel like I was just hoping for more with an after work joint. It is really hitting hard behind the eyes and I can feel a nice relaxation through my body. Not like couch locking but smoke enough and you might get to that point. I also just smoked, came inside, sat down and started writing this part of the revire. By this point, I could actually start to feel the effects start to die down. I just mostly feel it in the eyes at this point and it has been maybe 20 minutes since I put the joint out. 

The Burnout: 4.5/5 

Not really much of a burnout. It brought me back to basically how I was before I started smoking. A little drowsy eyed but nothing really to bad

Overall:  23.75/35

Not going to lie, that was probably one of the shortest length of time for effects from a product I've ever had. It at least ended up hitting decently, so that helped it. Other than that, I really don't think I enjoyed this product. It may be due to the fact that it was packaged almost a year ago.
