Sometimes when trying new things there are winners and sometimes like with the High Quadz Galaxy Cake there are losers. It seemed like there was nothing right about these prerolls. The aromas on opening the tube were faint and fairly muted but anything nice about them became completely overshadowed by the smoke. First it was incredibly dry. The flower actually was burning faster than the paper causing airflow problems. The coal was literally going out even while puffing on it. When it wasn't going out the coal was even falling apart, shedding bits on a regular basis. There had to be no resin left to this flower at all. It wasn't from the package being old either as it was from the very end of July. This is a big reason folks want harvest dates as well on packages. It is not an uncommon thing for prerolls to be used to move problematic flower instead of selling it off to make distillate or other biomass usages. Unfortunately without a harvest date, there is no way to know for certain but the lot number of 230120.5 hints at what might be the harvest date if the use of 23 in it is any indicator.

I couldn't even taste that it was old though as almost all flavor was buried under a nasty chemical burnt taste while smoking. All three prerolls were the same as well without any redeeming qualities. The high was just as lackluster. Normally I feel a decent amount even if it tastes bad but this time I ended up having to supplement my evening with an edible. It just was not pleasant at all. I can get trying to make the best of a bad batch of flower but this should have never made it to a preroll product to smoke.
