Quick Recap: I was in Quebec looking for something to smoke from the SQDC and I couldn't think of a more French Canadian name than Guedilles! I'm glad I picked them up. For those wondering what the name means, it's a lobster roll… basically it's lobster meat salad in a toasted hot dog bun. See the name has a lobster claw! How cute.
Packaging: 4/5 Pop top is easy to open, it's a black large tube. Not much more to say on the packaging other than it was easy for my weak hands to open. I don't say that much because most of the time I am struggling to get into my medicine.
Aroma/taste: 4/5 Pleasant. I had an enjoyable time smoking these. But had a hard time picking the exact smell and flavor. I was honestly walking around with my nose in the tub taking huge sniffs and still was not able to place it. Smoked all 6 and still couldn't put a name to the smell or taste. That doesn't happen often because usually I can come up with some very distinct descriptions.
Burn: 4/5 The joint formed a nice resin ring and has a light ash. Nicely rolled, it wasn't too tight nor too loose either. Much like goldilocks, it was juuust right. Has a spin tip, which isn't my favorite.
Buzz: 4.5/5 Nice and easy to get thru the day.
Overall: 16.5/20
Final thoughts I'm really happy I picked this up on my visit to Quebec. They were very easy to go thru and I would buy them again. A very smooth joint that doesn't take too long to smoke.
For the newbies: Small enough you can smoke it on your own
For the oldies: Satisfying enough that you don't need a second one
