Opening thoughts: Good Buds is a rarity for me. Its a brand that comes and goes in Ontario like the waves hit the shore on the beach. Its here and before you know it; its gone. Their Salty God was iconic to me, a classic God strain with a salt taste that would linger after smoking.

I'm curious to see how these go thats for sure! Will it be all good bud? Or should I roll a back up?

Now I'm smoking for Science (so you don't have to!)

Break Down:

Packaging: 2/5 The purple is a cool color and it pops on this generic black tube. They list a flavor profile but no actual terps. I also love the mention of living soil organics on the label. I'd love more information.

Aroma/taste: 3/5 it states sweet & sour lemon and pine. As the tube was cracked the room flooded with lemons and rosemary. It had that spice that just wouldn't quit. The flavor was the same but with a salty play doh after taste. 

Not the store bought but the home made stuff.

Joints: 2/5 I'm not sure what happened here. Most weren't twisted properly and some were fairly loose. These were also pretty small with large tails after reworking. Smaller joints generally mean closer to the end of the batch.

The Burn: (Raw Cones) 5/5 I reworked them out if habit so they burned very well. I wouldn't of attempted to smoke them straight out of the tube.

The Buzz: 4/5 I liked the buzz, it was very chatty and uplifting. It had me feeling artsy and thinking outside of the usual box.

The Burnout: 4/5 the drop off wasn't a difficult one, very mild slow down but easily fixed with a snack.

Overall: 20/30 This was a gift, I'm glad I tried it but its not my personal favorite. It did some tricks and had a lovely daytime buzz but the flavors and smells were a bit of a turn off. I see the appeal but I'm not really seeing the love of the craft in the product itself.
