Victoria Cannabis Company or V.C.C. is a legacy micro cultivator producer in the heart of Victoria (unreceded Lekwungen or Songhees Nation) whose team has over 25 years of legacy experience. V.C.C. is one of my favourite producers due to their strive for excellent craft flowers, I got to tour their facility last winter. At V.C.C. they are guided by a simple guiding principle “The Nose Knows” I’ve been very excited to try their G-Wagon. I purchased the pre-roll first but waited until I could get my hands on the flower to be able to review both. Be sure to follow their IG @viccannco for updates on the grand opening of their Farmgate store!
Package: Standard plastic doob tube, shortened version of the information on their flower packaging. I would add what the pre-rolls are made of and the type of packaging they used for the doob tube to the label but that’s just me.
Score: 4.8/5
Joint Appeal: All three joints weighed roughly 0.5gs and had clear unbleached paper with a white cardboard filter. It was a medium-length joint with a very tight role on end, the filter does look like it takes up a good part of the joint but doesn’t overtake the joint.
Score: 4.8/5
Dry Pull: The dry pull on each joint was an intense flavouring, filled with tastes of citrus, lemon, fennel, and mint. The taste profile most closely reminded me of a citrus-flavoured chip.
Score:5/5
Smoke Flavour: The start of the joint was nice and smooth, full of flavour with the lime becoming the most pronounced citrus fruit next to lemon there was also a chippy fennel taste. The end of the joint tasted very similar to the start with only the lemon fading and changing into a more ashy flavour.
Score:4.5/5
Ash Colour: The ash colour was white ash, and the joint throughout had a solid resin ring.
Score: 5/5
Smoothness: So not only did I experience no sensation throughout the joint. However, my asthmatic roommate who shared the joint also experienced no sensations in his throat throughout the joint, which is very rare for him.
Score: 5/5
I found the V.C.C. G-Wagon to be a very smooth, flavourful experience, but would I buy the V.C.C. G-Wagon Pre-Rolls again? Three 0.5g Pre-Rolls for about sixteen bucks of craft quality flower is worth it for a special type of occasion like a friend's birthday dinner, date night, or girl’s/boys' night. I am very excited to try the flower to see if the taste compares to the pre-rolls.
