I hurt my elbow stacking a cord of wood at my brother's and it's been bugging me for weeks. I decided to try this sample and boy am I ever happy that I did. I apply it in the morning after a shower. As the pain decreases, I can go about my day. I usually reapply mid afternoon and sometimes before bed if It's bad. 

Scent - 4.5/5 The scent is a mix of mint and rosemary. It's very light and not overpowering. It does not stink up a room when you put it on and the smell fades quickly on the skin. The consistency is that of a moisturizing cream.

Feel - 4/5 I do not get a cooling or heating sensation from this cream. I have tried it on different parts of my body to double check. If you are expecting that weird hot/cold sensation, I didn't experience it. It goes on very smoothly and blends into the skin quickly. There is no film or sticky feeling on my skin after applying. 

Packaging 5/5 Since I did receive a sample the tin is not what is sold in stores. I can only speak on this sample tin. It's is easy to open, holds enough cream to last me over a month of daily use.

Ease of use 4/5 Consistency is ok. I would have liked it a tad bit thicker. It is very easy to rub in and disappears quickly. It is very easy to apply. 

Effectiveness - 4.5/5 There's always room for improvement. How long does it work for? Well I would safely say a good 4-5 hours I felt relief in the area I had pain in before applying. The pain just gradually fades away and I get to forget about the aches for a while. 

Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes I would. This is one that I would like for my 88 year old mom as well. She's been enjoying trying the different salves I've brought for her to sample.
