Firstly let’s dig a little and share some background on this strain ; today we’re chatting Cap Junky X Jealousy - Volo! Capulator & seed junky are well recognized breeders who in this case happened to team up to help bring the beautiful strain to market. Honestly knowing the breeders is what encouraged me to pick this strain up the first time in June 2023… also maybe the fact I love a good jealousy! Volo was newly hitting the market and the genetics definitely helped put them on the radar. 

Volo ( fun fact in Italian “ volo” means flight )! They pride themselves on bringing only the best of the best to market. Craft cannabis, small batch, hand trimmed… all the little details… With that being said let’s get into it! 

Packaging |4/5 

I do love the purple heavy duty glass jar. It's how I personally prefer my cannabis to be packaged. However the pack is lacking in proper consumer information, I’d like to see this improved in the future, as there is absolutely no information on this jar but basic percentages! There is a QR code which is neat but it just leads you to their website where I also couldn’t find any extra information on terpenes but could find some good info on the cultivar itself!  

Little changes here could make a big difference! 

Bag Appeal | 5/5 

When it came to appeal there was nothing lacking, this jar was packed with care, two large buds with one small bud to make sure it measured up. The buds are stunning, dense, sticky, with a shimmer from the coating of trichomes! The colors are just as stunning mixed shades of every green you can think of with accents of deep purple to compliment and scattered amber pistils to finish it off. There was nothing out of place.  Note : There is a Boveda in every jar.  

Taste & Aromas | 5/5 

You can smell the bud before you even crack that darn seal, it packs a powerful punch. The aromas are creamy like vanilla, sweet, gassy, hints of citrus and pine with undertones of berry and something floral . It’s a real nose pleaser and with every sniff you catch something a little different. The taste hits all my favorite notes. It's very smooth and floral on the inhale but has a more gassy pine exhale that lingers in the back of your throat. 

The Burn | 4/5

This strain burns so beautifully, all white ash with little bits of black nothing that throws me off or makes me question quality. The smoke is thick, tickles the throat in a pleasant way.  

The Effects | 4/5 

A head heavy experience right off the bat, felt right behind the eyes, with a warmth that flows through the body! I was left relaxed and in complete euphoria, it was social yet unfocused. After a while It really creeps up on the body as it mellows on the head. My body felt heavy but also felt like if I got up I could still have some go in me! I could see this being a fabulous social smoke or even great paired with a night in! 

The burnout | 3/5 

I definitely felt a bit zonked on the come down, nothing, some food and a whole lot of water couldn’t fix though! This strain definitely gave me a heavy case of dry mouth & the munchies to boot! Overall though the burnout wasn’t terrible! 

Overall | 25/30 

I loved this and it’s no surprise for me really. Quality genetics and proper growth care made this such a beautiful strain that pleases all around and checks are the darn boxes! I’d love to see some packaging improvements in the future but that’s really the only complaint I have! 

They’re MAC V2 is just as impressive & makes me look forward to what they’ll be bringing in the future. Expectations are set high.
