I love the way they completed their cones. They didn't twist the end like many companies do. They took the time to push the ends in and I do that too. I find it creates a more even tip and a stronger start to the joint.
The first drag surprised me a bit, it had such a nice smell I was expecting a very good flavor but unfortunately was underwhelmed.
I found the taste to be almost close to a smoke or just the taste of smoke really. When you smoked for as long as I have you get to know what the flavor of some leaf in your joint tastes like. And it's like that.
It's a good joint to share with friends but a little hard to take 15 minutes to get thru alone
I found the paper to be too thick. I do prefer a thinner hemp paper. But that is my personal preference.
There was no real strong ring of oil around the joint it just seemed to get darker at the top. Ash was a dark grey and I could taste the difference. To be honest it tasted like it had a bit too much leaf in it. At the end of smoking I did open up the roach to see if I could find some leaf and I did find a little bit. The green had been milled so much thou it was very hard to see the difference if it was leaf or bud. I did not see any sticks at all in the ground green. But I did find little leaf parts. The joint was a little bit loosely rolled.
As I write this and time goes on after smoking I'm almost debating dropping to a 4.5 but I don't want to be that harsh yet. The effects aren't strong, the back of my throat is a little scratchy and I'm just not super impressed. If anything I might say I'm a little more sleepy so it could be a good night time smoke with friends. This is a joint I would bring to a party to share around with other people.. They can be all impressed with the cannon you brought and you won't be upset sharing it.
Con: Their packaging is almost the same color as the company No Frills and it really does make me think of this as a no name brand product. It's OK to bring to a party but when you want something special you get the name brand
