Packaging 5/5

This drink comes in a sleek indigo coloured can that similarly matches the colour of the beverage itself. Their logo is in white, with a couple blackberries on the can to give you an idea of what you’re getting into. As always, a shout to Peak Processing for their choice of CR packaging and for keeping accessibility in mind.

Visual Appeal 5/5

If I were to take a blueberry and squish it between my fingers, the colour would match perfectly. No doubt the drink is a little dark, but the use of blueberry & carrot juice to colour the drink was lovely!

Aroma/Taste 5/5

The taste was delicious, heavy on the blackberry, with absolutely zero cannabis aftertaste and perfectly carbonated. I was expecting a much heavier vanilla flavour, or more of a cream soda texture, but that wasn’t the case. It was perhaps missing a more potent vanilla profile, but this was still fantastic. It was sweetened with the use of cane sugar as well, so wasn’t quite as heavy on the tongue as some other sweeteners. After finishing the drink, the aroma from the empty glass was still potent enough to fill the room.

Effects 5/5

I don’t often give 5s for effects of edibles/beverages because we’re usually talking about 10mg of distillate, and there's typically very little room for variance. That being said, some of these manufacturers are really starting to learn how to maximise the effects of 10mg. The effects were really good and kicked in within about 20 minutes. At first it felt like a light buzzing/tingling, and then you were slowly embraced in this indica-like hug. It was very pleasant and lasted about an hour and a half before fading away gently. I’d still love some stronger effects, but I’ll take what I can legally get right now.

Overall 20/20 (100%)

I’m not sure how I feel about writing a review with a 100% rating, but I would be doing this one a disservice by ranking it any lower. Every detail was well-executed, from the packaging, to the flavour & aroma, effects, and even the choice of sweeteners and the use of natural colourants. Coming in at 30 grams of sugar, this is definitely not keto or diabetic friendly, but it is significantly less sugar than some of the other cream sodas on the market. This is a can I will purchase again, and be happy to recommend to customers. There are so many different colas and cream sodas on the market currently, but we don’t really have a blueberry or blackberry flavoured soda yet that stands out and I’ll recommend this one with confidence.
