Opening thoughts:
A revived brand from the earlier times in rec history. They were good when I knew the growers and the wacky slurricane strain (slurface).
I had to wonder what had changed or didn't.
Was this worth resurrecting or should they have been left in the past?
Now I'm smoking for Science (so you don't have to!)
Break Down:
Packaging: 3/5 It's a white tuna can with a white label. The tiny logo may pop on that white background but the whole package just doesn't sing to me. The top however is better than most tuna cans so that's a plus.
Aroma/taste: 4/5 the scent was muted and super mild. It was like a dying grape scented marker, if you truly believed it ; you smelt it.
The taste however was definitely what gave this a higher score. The earthy grape jelly taste lingered well after smoking and made me lick my lips awkwardly often.
Buds: 2/5 they weren't great, dry and brittle buds made it hard to handle and work with. Joints just got smaller during the rolling process.
The Burn: (pure hemp papers) 4/5 although it rolls smaller sized joints than I'd prefer; they burn well. Light grey ash.
The Buzz: 4/5 good buzz for deep conversations about nothing, very snacky but delightful overall.
The Burnout: 4/5 I was expecting nap city but instead I got cuddly and sweet.
Overall: 21/30 cost to quality wasn't there for me, yes i liked it but I doubt I'll be going for it again at that price point. It's worth a try in my opinion but I hope it gets better before it gets worse
