Thanks to a happy accident I got to try two different batches of Kootenay Quantum's KQ Jager prerolls. The interesting thing is they were rolled two different ways as well. The newer batch was quite nice. There were some interesting aromas of licorice and celery primarily with some lighter elements of pine and lavender. The smoke was also pretty good to start even with having smoked the older batch first. This makes me kind of want to look for a fresh batch again to see how much more I might taste with it being my first smoke. The smoke was earthy and floral with some very tart and peppery elements. It did finish a bit more generic but not bad and burned well the whole time. 

Now what both batches shared was the prerolls burned evenly and were mostly smooth. The newer batch was rolled shorter with higher THC while the older was rolled longer with lower THC.  The reason I'm ending with the older batch was because it came across very average. Sadly time was not kind to these prerolls. The much earlier batch did have nice aromas though not as strong as the older, with  licorice and lavender primarily. The smoke was where the time took the most. It lost quite a bit into just a kind of generic herbal.  They also were very dry so burned very fast if evenly. So I had these both in the same session so the high was contributed by both. I felt like it started out light with the older and intensified after the newer pack. It ended up being a fairly heavy over all high and I had an excellent sleep. I actually really enjoyed these but you may want to ask for the package date to manage expectations on taste.
