First impression: Not even the heat seal could contain the big bud barely contained within the jar. The mild fruity odor was followed with a familiar scent; Paste. This branch looked like it went through a machine trimmer before being packed. I was impressed until I wasn't.
Inspection: The central stem was pretty thick with these buds stemming from it. It had a sticky crystal left residue behind on my fingers as I tore it apart. It was a darker color than expected and seemed very small when taken off the main stem.
Experience: For the first ten minutes after smoking this milky, pasty fruity flavored joint I was pretty let down with a super mild buzz. I was pretty upset and wanted to complain to someone about how I flushed forty bucks down the toilet when I realized I was trying to text on my t.v remote. This strain crept up on me and took me to be a tourist at himbo village in LA LA land.
The Trim job: This wasn't what was expected of a craft product. I like a more natural shape and look. This felt machine trimmed, and pretty stemmy. Yes I get that it was the main stem of that “bud” but it doesn't mean i have to like it.
Quality to cost ratio: I overpaid on this one. This did not balance out or tip the scales in a positive way. The overall quality/expectations for something with this high of a price tag did not meet.
Fixes/preferences: My thoughts were expressed already. This just didn't feel like a Simply Bare product. I feel this could have been done by anyone else instead. If this was done by someone else I'd like to be warned.
Overall /summary: Overpriced creeper strain with a strange paste taste mixed in with fruits and milk.
Rebuy: Nope. Simply not.
As always
