What's too far? We keep asking if we can, not if we should.

What's too far? We keep asking if we can, not if we should.

Mayonnaise, beef jerky, mac n cheese, potato chips and more. Distillate has turned into franks red hot sauce, they're putting that sh*t on everything. Not only distillate but also hash rosin or "RSO" (Rick Simpson Oil) has made its way into drinks, food, pre-rolls and anything in-between.

Where's the line?

When does Innovation actually meet the demand? Where is research and development going?

These are the questions that keep me awake some nights. Not only is the edible game getting weird but it's as fun as it can be. The 10 mg limit has been killing the edibles industry since it started, they have to get creative like the rest of us.

That's not just where the questions lie though. The products in flower, pre-rolls and concentrates are also becoming quite questionable.

Botanical terpenes, mega mixes of concentrates, wacky names and a f*ck-ton of distillate. Bigger and stronger products for thc % and candy flavors just to move  and with an industry flushing its excess materials pretty much down the toilet they gotta do something.

Heck we even have different types of thc's coming to market, synthetic and authentic types to boost numbers and hopefully make sales.

We're isolating cannabinoids for better experiences and understanding but I'm slightly worried where that can take the industry if done improperly. CBG (Cannabigerol) is pretty hot right now as a base, additive and conversation point. Sadly in the rec market most people can't advertise the medical effects and have to keep to basic charts or buzzwords to pass a message along.

Then there's all the others we're finding which makes the conversations harder, yet super exciting for those who care.

Where does this leave the average consumer? Confused and scared mostly.

Hoping for guidance online, in store or word of mouth. Which causes conflicting opinions and information.

Which is an issue all on its own and not the point.

There are flops and hits, this industry wants to be taken seriously while goofing off and honestly I'm kind of here for it.

I live to see the blunders and successes. As much as I want to be mad at items like "The Brick '', "Infused mayonnaise" and whatever they throw our way, but there's no way I will be. Someones gonna buy it, if not for the novelty than just because it's there.

There's no limit, rhyme or reason to what we have, don't have or are going to get next. Some things make sense and some don't.

So what is the demand? What are people asking for? Who f*cking knows.  Some People ask for something or think it's a good idea. If it sells, it sells but are you buying?

As always,

Peace, love and pre-rolls
